Acis Group announces exciting changes to drive growth and community impact  November 2024

Acis Group is delighted to share that they are evolving to better serve their customers, communities, and organisation. Following a strategic review aligned with their new vision  to 2030, they’ve made several key changes to their leadership structure, reflecting their continued growth and commitment to supporting people when they need them.

Introducing the Community Investment Directorate

To support the delivery of their corporate vision they have created a new Community Investment Directorate, which will focus on expanding their impact within communities, delivering much needed outcomes in education and wider growth opportunities across the group. This directorate brings together existing and future services, including CLIP, Riverside, The Campus for Future Living and Acis Students, alongside Business Development, Evolution and wider new community-based initiatives.

We’re excited to announce that Claire Woodward, who has been with Acis for nearly 10 years and brings a wealth of experience, has been appointed to this new role as Director of Community Investment. Claire has played a pivotal role in growing the organisation, including the development of our education services and growth in their student accommodation provision. Her vision and passion for communities make her the ideal person to take this new directorate forward.

Greg Bacon, Chief Executive at Acis, commented:

“Claire has been instrumental in shaping our organisation and delivering services that make a real difference in people’s lives. This new directorate is a key part of our corporate strategy, and we are excited to have Claire lead the charge.”

Celebrating internal promotions

They would also like to announce two significant promotions within our team:

Hannah Taylor-Dales steps into the role of Head of Business Development, focusing on growing and diversifying our services. Having joined Acis in 2015, Hannah has been integral to developing the new corporate strategy and gaining significant financial investment to deliver new community-based projects and services.

Aisha Ward takes on the position of Business Evolution and Development Manager, where she will lead exciting new initiatives like the Campus for Future Living. Aisha, who has been a key driver of innovation within Acis Students, brings the skills and experience to lead on transformative projects.

These promotions are a testament to the incredible talent within Acis and their commitment to supporting growth from within.

Investing in IT and digital growth

To support their plans, they have also bolstered the IT team, recognising the vital role data and technology plays in delivering excellent customer experiences and operational efficiency. The introduction of a new team within IT; focusing on Systems, Improvement and Data ensures Acis are equipped to meet the needs of their growing services and diverse customer base.
