During the festive season we donated Christmas hampers to our customers to help raise Christmas spirits.
We're in a great position to be able to support our people and customers, making a difference in their lives.
Our people across the group nominated people who they worked closely with or who they felt needed some Christmas magic.
This could've been because they were spending Christmas alone or showed great courage through difficult times.
In total, we made 100 hampers that include a variety of festive treats such as, crisps, chocolate, mince spice, selection boxes and much more.
Our Customer Engagement Coordinator, Claire Tunstall, said: “We worked together to deliver the hampers to customers who might have needed some festive cheer.
“It’s been a great team effort and opportunity to support our customers during these times.”
The festive donation brought joy to one family who were struggling during the Christmas period. Dianne said: "I just wanted to say a big thank you for your donation.
"It really was appreciated as we didn't receive our Universal Credit until Christmas Eve. We were just keeping our heads above water."
Although not much, Dianne was grateful for the pleasant surprise her family received. She said: "The gift of sweets and treats helped us massively so thank you."
Our Christmas donations are an annual tradition and we can't wait to do it all again this year to help make a difference in other people's lives.
