A block of flats in Dunholme have a new lease of life now maintenance work has been completed.

We’ve invested in new roofing, soffits, guttering, water proofing, windows and doors to help transform Tennyson House in the village.

It’s an area to be proud of after our Area Service Manager and Estate Officer stepped in to give it some much needed attention.

Overgrown old footpaths and dilapidated garages have been removed and a new bin area has been provided to give our customers easy access.

General repairs were also completed internally and externally to enhance living situations for our customers.

We have also installed new safe and secure communal doors with an intercom system.

Mark Cyrnik, our Asset Surveyor, said: “We have vulnerable tenants so it’s important that we protect them.”

Charlotte Anderson, one of our Area Service Managers, said: “Tennyson House used to stand out in the village of Dunholme as an old building which was in need of repairs and modernising.

“Since the works have been completed it looks cleaner, more modern and a place that is more appealing to live.

“The Asset team have done a brilliant job in ensuring that all the work that has been done has meant that our customers can now live in a better and safer place.

A lot of time and effort has been invested into this and it really shows.”
