Christmas is a great time spent with family, having fun and eating too much food. It can be difficult for most to go back to ‘reality’ after such a festive period.
Here are some helpful tips to get you back into the swing of things.
Make plans with your university friends
Everyone has been away and you’re all probably feeling a bit apprehensive about returning to university. Make the experience fun by having a reunion get together, you can share stories about your time away and build the excitement about being back and continuing your university journey together.
Get yourself organised
You’ve had a nice break, now it’s time to get ready for more hard work and to smash those deadlines. Getting yourself organised is a great way to make sure you start the journey in the best way. Maybe it’s time to spend some Christmas money on new stationery!
Check in with friends and family
It’s not always possible to make regular visits, but just having that time to check in with friends and family back home can really boost your mood. Make these regular, they don’t have to take hours, just a message or a short video call can make all the difference.
If you need support, then reach out
If you’re really struggling with the change of returning back to university, or if you have any other bothers or worries, remember that there are support networks out there to help you. Your university will have a range of support that you can utilise, as well as our own channels here at Acis Students through Endsleigh Insurance.
